In terms of skincare, at 54, I haven't taken the best care of my skin. Maria recommended I start a proper skincare regime. She brought me to the store and picked samples to find which products would work best with my skin before buying (I have had issues with milia in the past). Once we nailed down my cleansers and creams, we moved on to makeup. I'm not one to wear it often so I wanted something subtle. Maria helped me find a light feeling foundation with SPF and natural looking blush, but more importantly, how to apply it!!!
Now came the arduous task of helping me stick to the regime. I was amazed. Maria rearranged and organized my bathroom and products. "Everything has a place". The changes she made, have made it easier for me to stick with it. I actually like doing it now and my bathroom looks much better! Win win!
In terms of organization, after my bathroom was tackled, we moved on to my in-home exercise studio. I'm a personal trainer and my studio, like my skin, needed attention. We scoured from top to bottom, rearranged and added cubbies to organize my equipment in a way that made sense while also being esthetically pleasing. Maria is a firm believer of "shopping your home" so in both my bathroom and studio, we repurposed things I already owned saving money while still looking fabulous. The outcome of my studio gave me a renewed sense of pride of ownership.
Maria is an old soul. Kind, empathic with a never-ending call to help others. Oh, and she's organized!
